What is Cosmetic Dentistry?

Cosmetic dentistry is oral care that focuses on improving the appearance of your teeth. Although cosmetic dentistry procedures are usually elective rather than essential, some treatment cases also provide amazing benefits to improve the health and function of your teeth. Using the latest dental practices, cosmetic dental procedures can range from basic color correction to replacing missing teeth, and everything in between.

Want to Improve Your Smile?

What can braces, crowns, veneers, teeth whitening, bridges, implants, do for your smile? Here’s a small breakdown of the cosmetic procedures we see most every day.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening lightens teeth that have been stained or discolored by food and age or darkened as a result of injury. The process can take a few visits depending on the extent of decolorization and how white you would like your teeth.

Veneers

Porcelain veneers are custom-made, tooth-colored shells that cover the front of your teeth. They correct or camouflage misaligned, damaged, or discolored teeth. The process of applying veneers usually involves two visits.

SureSmile

SureSmile is the clear orthodontic treatment for all ages. It fits comfortably and easily into your lifestyle, without the discomfort of traditional bracket braces. SureSmile is designed with the use of a digital scan, for precision, to ensure it fits perfectly. How long you’ll have to wear them depends on the misalignment of your teeth, the health of your teeth, gums, supporting bone, and your age.

Dental Implants

Dental implants can be a perfect solution for a missing tooth. Dental implants are artificial teeth that are attached directly into your jaw. They are much more secure and natural-looking than dentures or dental bridges. The implant is fitted with a crown that is shaped and camouflaged to the surrounding teeth. No one will be able to tell the artificial tooth from the rest. Most implant appointments take one to 2 visits with our Single Visit Crowns (CEREC). Those with dentures can also benefit from implants by having the dentures secured to a specially designed implant attachment.
